Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Daniel Monzon Automation ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, contact us, or interact with the websites, booking tools, phone systems, and messaging services we build and operate for our clients. By using our services or providing your information to us, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Daniel Monzon Automation is a one-person technology service based in Gainesville, Florida. We help local service businesses with done-for-you websites and AI automation — including AI voice agents, online booking, missed-call text-back, follow-up, and review automation. In some cases we send communications directly; in others we operate messaging, booking, and website systems on behalf of a client business you are doing business with.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to provide and run these services:
- Contact details you provide — your name, phone number, and email address.
- Booking and appointment information — the service requested, preferred times, and notes you share when you book or inquire (for example, through our scheduling tool).
- Communication records — calls, voicemails, text messages, and emails exchanged with us or with a business we serve, including your consent to be contacted.
- Website usage data — standard log information (such as device and browser type and pages viewed) and analytics data about how visitors use our site, as described in Section 4.
We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers, health records, or government IDs) through our text messaging or booking systems.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your calls, messages, and inquiries;
- Schedule, confirm, and remind you about appointments and send you booking links;
- Follow up after a service and, where appropriate, request a review;
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the websites and systems we operate;
- Comply with our legal obligations.
4. Cookies, analytics & session recording
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to function properly and to help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity, a product-analytics tool from Microsoft Corporation, to understand how visitors interact with our website. Clarity may capture how you use and navigate our site through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session recordings — for example, mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and the pages and sections you view. Clarity uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to do this. We use this information to find and fix problems and to improve the site's design, content, and performance. Clarity is configured to mask sensitive content (such as text you enter into fields), and we do not use it to personally identify you. We load Clarity only after you accept cookies through the cookie banner on our site. Microsoft processes Clarity data in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement (https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement) and the Microsoft Clarity terms of use. We do not sell this data.
Third-party tool cookies. Some features rely on third-party tools that may set their own cookies only when you choose to use them — for example, our booking tool (Calendly) when you open the scheduler, or our payment processor (Stripe) when you purchase a package or pay an invoice.
Your choices. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie banner on our site — choosing to decline turns analytics off — and you can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how certain parts of the site work.
5. SMS / text messaging
You opt in to text messages through the optional SMS checkbox on our online booking form. Checking the box is not required to book or to receive any service. In some cases you may also give consent verbally during a phone call, and that consent is likewise optional and recorded. Once you opt in, we may send text (SMS) messages related to your booking or request — appointment booking links, confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages.
Your SMS consent terms
Message frequency varies and depends on your activity — for example, you may receive a handful of messages around each appointment or request (typically 1–5 messages per booking).
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and then no further texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details below.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We never share your SMS opt-in or consent for third-party marketing. No mobile information — including your phone number and your text-messaging opt-in or consent — will be shared with, sold to, or rented to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances.
6. How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only in these limited situations:
- With the business you are doing business with — if we operate a booking, messaging, or website system on behalf of a client, your booking details are shared with that business so it can serve you.
- With service providers who help us operate our systems — for example, our website host (Netlify), scheduling tool (Calendly), payment processor (Stripe), voice/SMS providers (such as Twilio and Retell AI), and analytics provider (Microsoft Clarity) — strictly to perform services for us and under confidentiality obligations. Your SMS opt-in data and consent are never shared with these or any other parties for their own marketing purposes.
- When required by law — to comply with a valid legal request, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
7. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services, meet the purposes described here, and satisfy legal or recordkeeping requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to limited exceptions required by law.
8. Your choices & rights
- Opt out of texts — reply STOP to any message at any time.
- Manage cookies & analytics — use the cookie banner or your browser settings to control cookies and analytics tracking, as described in Section 4.
- Access, correct, or delete — contact us to review, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Withdraw consent — you may withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time.
We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data in systems that are access-controlled and maintained.
10. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults and for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
